Joseph Yobo, the former Nigerian international, has expressed admiration for Ademola Lookman’s outstanding performance in Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Angola in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
In the match, Lookman scored the solitary goal in the first half, propelling the Super Eagles to the tournament’s semi-finals.
With this goal, Lookman has now tallied three goals in the AFCON 2023, making him the team’s leading goal-scorer. Yobo, appearing as a guest on Afrosports AFCON coverage, commended Lookman for his remarkable tournament.
