Minister of Power Breaks Silence on Scary Ibadan Airport Incident

Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has broken his silence and spoken about the incident that occurred at the Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State. The incident involved a private jet, with registration number 5N-AMM, which crash-landed at the airport.

On Friday evening, the private jet carrying Minister Adelabu and his entourage crash-landed at the Ibadan airport.
The incident occurred while the aircraft was attempting to land near the runway.
The plane, owned and managed by Flint Aero, suffered significant damage.
All three cabin crews and seven passengers on board were safely evacuated from the damaged aircraft.

A source close to the Minister stated that Adelabu is in good spirits and not perturbed by the incident.
Despite the scary crash-landing, the Minister assured the public that he is safe and unharmed.

A preliminary report on the incident mentioned that the cause of the crash-landing is yet to be determined.
The airport authorities, including the ARFFS (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Services) and AVSEC (Aviation Security), responded promptly to the scene.
An emergency meeting was held with the heads of departments to assess the situation.
As of now, further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
