Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has emphasized his administration’s stance of non-confrontation regarding the May 30 sit-at-home observance in honor of those who lost their lives during the Nigerian civil war.
Expressing his views through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, the governor asserted the people’s right to commemorate their deceased loved ones without unnecessary interference.
He highlighted the government’s proactive measures, particularly in ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams for students in the state.
