AFCON 2023: Super Eagles of Nigeria crushed Dubai Club 12-0 in a friendly game

In a friendly game that was played in Abu Dhabi behind closed doors, the Super Eagles of Nigeria crushed Dubai Club 12-0 on Sunday, January 7, 2024 ahead of the forthcoming AFCON tournament.

The Jose Peseiro’s side were 6-0 up at half-time.

4 Nigerian forwards were on the score-sheet.

Ademola Lookman with a double-brace (4), while Victor Osimhen scored a brace (2), Substitute Moses Simon(2) and Umar Sadiq(2) both scored a brace each, with their opponent scoring two own goals.

The Super Eagles continues with their test against Guinea at the Bani Yas Stadium on Monday before the AFCON kickstarts.
