Makinde stressed the importance of Obi’s conduct, noting its vital role in Nigeria’s progress. He urged Nigerians to rise above tribal associations and emphasized the need for collective contributions toward national development and unity.

Furthermore, Makinde advocated for a comprehensive restructuring of the country, believing that it would significantly benefit Nigeria as a whole. He envisioned fair structures that would foster coherence and healthy competition among federating units for the greater good, rather than division.

In summary, Governor Seyi Makinde hailed Peter Obi’s exemplary conduct in politics, drawing parallels between him and Nnamdi Azikiwe. Makinde emphasized the importance of unity, collective contributions, and the need for nationwide restructuring to foster a united Nigeria.
